The Photography of Doug HallJuxtapoz // Tuesday, 09 Aug 2011
Doug Hall's photography documents iconic landmarks and popular destinations with a pulled back perspective that is similar to the work of Andreas Gursky and Massimo Vitali. Here we have Hall's images of the Grand Canyon, Baker Beach, Mount Rushmore, Coney Island, and even the Eiffel Tower. We particularly enjoy how within the general composition, there exists many small details. Each person within the crowd is going about their own business, but together the collection of individuals compose a larger body of people that are participating in a similar activity.
