At first all of these images look like digital reproductions, but Gordin notes directly on his site that "All images are assembled & printed in a traditional darkroom." He calls himself a conceptual photographer, and his Crowd series is quite dramatic and stunning.

The Riga, Latvia-based photograhper has a bunch of really fascinating series' that you can check out on his site.
