Murakami’s stunning new exhibition, which opened last week, is a beautiful melding of new and classic as his poppy, shiny, large scale characters and flowers take over the historically significant Chateau (the late 1780s, Frenchmen invaded it to chop the head’s off of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette) for an exhibit of world-class caliber.
