Melbourne-based artist, Shida, has updated the Internets with new images of his abstract creatures that are infesting the streets and perhaps leaving audiences with a not so comforting feeling. 

"Extra Calcium" by Escif in Ordes, Spain

Escif’s newest work is on an extra long wall where he painted the repetitive image of a women standing next to a cow. The title to this piece paint in Ordes, Spain is “Extra Calcium.” We count 15 of the exact same image in a row, with each one separated by a square slab of stucco.

Steve Powers has freshly completed a new mural in Copenhagen that pays tribute to the Danish icon, Hans Christian Anderson, whose stories many Americans and Copenhageners grew up with. Located in front of the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, this piece was inspired from Andersen’s fairy tale The Red Shoes,a story about vanity and redemption, themes that easily connect the 19thcentury with the 21stcentury.

Saner “El Cenit Del Venado" @ Fifty24MX Gallery, Mexico City

Over the weekend, Saner opened his newest exhibition “El Cenit Del Venado" at Fifty24MX Gallery in Mexico City. This new body of work consisted of acrylic paintings, ink drawings and sculptures, all presented in a dim lit setting. Saner wrote about the exhibition saying, “The zenith refers to the time when the sun and the moon aligns in the sky above us, and it´s used as a metaphor of those instants where the human being is able to get out of the daily routine and be present, being able to connect with the Great Spirit.”
