Aesop Rock’s newest album titled “Skelethon” has a wonderfully painted cover by one of our favorite of street artists, Aryz.  Over the years Aesop Rock has chosen a range of talented folks to grace his album cover, but his has to be the best yet.  Be on the lookout for “Skelethon” coming out soon.

How and Nosm's "This Side of Paradise" Installation Photos and Video

These photographs of How and Nosm’s installation in The Andrew Freedman Home is saying alot, as in “They killed it.”   “This side of Paradise” is a project inviting numerous artists to create site-specific work to revitalize an old welfare hotel located in the Bronx and is also the title of famed author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s first novel.    Artists included are Bruce Richards, Daze, Crash, Cheryl Pope among many others.  The space is open to the public and can viewed through June 5th, 2012.

Pez in London

The streets of Barcelona are littered with grinning sneaky fish, popping out in the strangest of places.  The artist responsible for these humorous little guys goes by the name Pez and is currently in London for an upcoming show at Tony’s gallery titled “Smiling Since 1999? that will open on April 6th.  He has managed to paint the following walls around town and more.

Dangling Train Replica by Jeff Koons

One of the largest tourist draws to New York City has been the newly developed High Line, and artist Jeff Koons has proposed hanging a massive steam locomotive over it dangling from a crane.  The sculpture would be a replica 1943 Baldwin 2900 steam locomotive titled “Train.”

LA PANDILLA @ LIVING WALLS IN ATLANTA

Puerto Rico-based artists, La Pandilla, comprised of Alexis Diaz and Juan Fernandez, are currently creating this highly detailed mural of an unusual Elephant and two-headed koala.  The duo was in Atlanta for a one-night only gallery opening at The Jane.

Dementia x Zeh Palito x Alma x Speed

This is the final product of collaboration between numerous different artists that all create work in the street.  This piece was painted at the Araras Skate Park in Brazil by artists Dementia, Zeh Palito, Alma, and Speed.

Two seahorses and more by Philippe Baudelocque

We haven’t heard much from Paris-based artist, Philippe Baudelocque, until a local photographer happened by the artist in action. The artist was seen creating two seahorses outside of a retail shop where the interior was decorated with the artist’s renderings of deer.  The complex designs and patterns of Baudelocque’s work are a standout in the streets of Paris.
