Street Art, Literally, by The 6emeia Project

Juxtapoz // Thursday, 12 Jan 2012

When we showed the work of French street artist OaKoAk last year, readers loved the playful nature of the artist's public street art. Brazilian duo, The 6emeia Project, does a very similar thing; take what they see in the streets and reimagine them into illustrations, concepts, and playful characters. The 6emeia Project, consisting of Anderson Augusto and Leonardo Delafuente, take a pothole, a crosswalk, or an eletrical station and transform them into popsicles, Oreo cookies, and lighters. A lot of these pieces are from 2010, but we thought they were too fun to pass up. (via TCR)
