“I have had so many compliments and questions about our one-of-a-kind bathtub couch that we have decided to go into production,” writes Morrison. “The idea came to me as I was trying to come up with unique pieces of furniture for our ‘retro’ game room,” she explains on her Etsy shop site.

“I saw a picture of something similar in a high end design magazine and thought - I can make that! Alas, our ‘Breakfast at Tiffany's’ inspired couch was created.”

Each of these funky couches is made to order by Morrison, and only takes about 4 weeks to produce. The couch in the pictures here was commissioned by American Spirit Tobacco to go on a Marketing tour.

What a great synthesis of two luxuries: bath time and couch potato-ing.

The artist also does all sorts of other creative stuff, like handmade invitations and design projects. The authentic feel is a nice alternative to mass-produced paper goods, or the standard email.
