John Schabel has published a new book, Passengers, featuring the voyeuristic portraiture project of anonymous airplane passengers. The portraits were taken in the mid-90s without the passenger's permission using a zoom lens. About the project, Shabel said: "It was a different time and there was not the same kind of suspicion of cameras… There wasn't such a sensitively about the airport." The book is available from Twin Palms for $60. (via huhmagazine)
