Preview: Gary Baseman’s Walking Through Walls at Jonathan LeVine Gallery
Juxtapoz // Thursday, 03 Mar 2011
This Saturday March 5th, Gary Baseman’s solo exhibition, Walking Through Walls opens at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York. Returning to New York after six years, this will be Baseman’s second exhibit at the gallery.
Having been through a number of changes in the last few years, including the recent passing of his father, this body of work embraces loss, risk, change, and the darker side of life. Introducing new characters and a darker color palette, Walking Through Walls also focuses on the subjects of truth, love, hope, faith, mortality and breaking through boundaries. Following is a preview of this exciting new body of work.
