Portraits Made From Screws by Andrew Meyers

We're having fun this Friday morning with German-born, Spain-raised, and California-based artist Andrew Meyers and his portraits made from screws. Using thousands of screws, the artist drives them in at different depths to give the piece a unique sense of texture 3 dimensionality. Once the screws are in, he will paint over each individual (often 7,000-10,000) screw head by hand to create the finish portrait.
