Photos: C3's "777" Solo Show at San Francisco's Gallery Three

Juxtapoz // Monday, 23 Mar 2009

“[We] have to give it up to C3,” writes the Gallery. “This had to have been one of the best shows at Gallery Three.” C3’s (short for Christopher C. Curtis) solo exhibit of new works represents a crossroad where the heavenly and dark worlds collide.

C3’s meticulously rendered graphite drawings capture the ethereal quality of objects, instruments, people, and places, by emulating photo-realism and surrealism. The exhibit environment was beautifully lit by candlelight, bringing in a crowd eager to check out C3’s show, 777. The show will remain on display thru April 3rd 2009 at San Francisco's Gallery Three.
