Opening Photos:Terry Richardson "MOM DAD" @ Half Gallery, NYC

Terry Richardson opened a new exhibition, MOM DAD, at Half Gallery in NYC this past weekend, and we stopped by to see if we could get Terry to give us a thumbs up. He did. And then we looked at the photos. As we wrote last week, Terry's late father, Bob Richardson, was a renowned fashion photographer, and his mom Annie still lives in Ojai, California, where Terry grew up.

Half Gallery notes, "Mixing captured text and portraiture, this series doubles as an epistemological survey of one man's life in an attempt to reconcile his family of origin." The two-volume book, Mom Dad, from Morel Books, launched at Colette in Paris late September.
