The links between urban art and hip-hop are indelible and Pulse explores the influence and connection between the two. Guest curated by Charlie Dronkers, the exhibit links the origin of hip-hop to the current visual hip-hop culture.
(I Can) Feel the Pulse refers to the voice of protest of the repressed black population of the United States, powerfully expressed in these works.
