Sometimes you have to sit and process what you are looking at. This is a portrait made from a wooden panel, nails, and one single piece of thread. That is right; one single piece of thread. The panel is painted white, and then the NYC-based artist wraps the black thread around the nails more and more to create the darker sections. Quite... incredible. (via)
