Today, August 11, is the 20th anniversary of Nickelodeon airing of the groundbreaking cartoon, Ren & Stimpy. The show, created by John Kricfalusi and produced by Spumco, paved the way for so many shows today, including "South Park" and a lot of Adult Swin shows you see today. And basically every great dirty ass YouTube video owes something to Ren & Stimpy.
To put this into context, Ren & Stimpy truly paved the way for the disgusting (in a good way), lo-fi, amazingly written cartoon to truly flourish.
