November 2010 with Barbara Kruger, Debbie Harry, Jonathan Yeo, and MoreJuxtapoz // Tuesday, 26 Oct 2010
It is with great honor that Barbara Kruger, one the leading and influential contemporary artists of the past 50 years, graces the cover of our November issue. The inside features ain’t bad either.
The editors of Jux spoke with Kruger before two of her shows in Europe and outdoor installation at the Whitney this Fall, speaking about her present works and the conditions of mass-media in 2010.
In this issue we also speak with musician and artist Debbie Harry, British artist Jonathan Yeo (famous for his portraits of influential world leaders done in porn), NYC-based tattoo, mosaic, installation, and "illegal" performance artist, Duke Riley, LA-based painter Patrick Martinez, pixel artist eBoy, and children's book illustrator, the great Ed Emberley.
The seasons are changing, and we ask "Are we having fun yet?"
