North Korean defector Song Byeok just opened an art show in Seoul, South Korea, going from making propaganda posters in the North with taglines like "Let us Exalt the Great Leader," to now depicting Kim Jong-il as Marilyn Monroe.

Definitely a change of scenary for the artist. As Song Byeok told the Huffington Post, "Freedom of speech has nothing to do with North Korea. Here in South Korea, people can draw what they want. So every painting reflects the artist's distinctive personality."
