“Rinpa” means ring (circle) from which one derives and grows, and “Eshidan” means group of artists. Rinpa Eshidan is a circle of friends from which something new is conceived, innovation born out of the primordial, a drive to share the height of creativity and proclaim rather than hide it away under layers.
According to Jeben Berg, “It has been awhile since Rinpa posted a new video, but they are energized by the article and dedicated to do more.” We cannot wait to see what form that may take.
