Located in the Inner Richmond district of San Francisco since 2006, retail store and art gallery Park Life has become a destination for thoughtfully curated books, prints, jewelry, homewares, tee-shirts, and original fine art. Owners Jamie Alexander and Derek Song opened a secondary business in 2008, a publishing company called Paper Museum Press, which produces artist monographs and catalogues.
Park Life recently received national media attention for receiving a cease-and-desist order from the lawyers of renowned artist Jeff Koons in relation to the Balloon Dog bookends carried in the store. Here are some photos from a recent visit I made.
