Whether Los Angeles based Cleon Peterson actually participates in the act of sleeping is a mystery. Working 9-5 as a designer, raising two children, painting into the night, managing various side projects; it's hard to imagine where he would find time to rest. Fortunately for me, Cleon squeezed me in for a visit to check out some of his most recent work in preparation for his solo show next month titled White Flag, at Joshua Liner Gallery. Cleon had already been preparing diligently, as much of the work was wrapped and ready to ship. Cleon will be showing pieces as large as 14 feet long and 7 feet tall with his iconic violent scenarios. This show is not to be missed.
