Natalie Shau's Digital Fantasy

Juxtapoz // Saturday, 26 Jun 2010

Natalie Shau is illustrator and photographer from Lithuania. Working mainly in digital media, Shau will show off her works tonight in the upper loft of the Corey Helford Gallery as Brandi Milne’s solo takes the main floor of the gallery.

The artist’s works are mixture of her photography, digital painting and 3D elements. Her surreal and strange creatures appear simultaneously fragile and powerful. Influenced by religious imagery, fairytales illustrations, classic horror literature and Russian classic literature such as Fyodor Dostoevsky, Nikolai Gogol etc, Shau’s works offer viewers a sight to behold.
