Music Video: Willow "Sweater" by Filip Sterckx

Music // Thursday, September 13, 2012
Using 3D mapping is a technology that you see more and more in contemporary videos, but in our minds, you need a good actor to pull off the action. Leave it to the lead singer of the band Willlow, and their track "Sweater," who shot this entire video in a studio, on one mini-stage, with 3 beamers projecting on a floor and two walls. The results? Simply put: worth a watch.

With folk and bluegrass bands playing all throughout the weekend, and the surrounding Flotsam carnival and revival performances, John Butler and Colin Day captured the mood of the Flotsam performance in this picture essay. Sit back, enjoy.

New: Efterklang "Hollow Mountain" Music Video

Music // Friday, August 24, 2012
We speak for a lot of people in the arts that we were excited to get an advanced copy of Efterklang's newest LP, Piramida, and even more excited to see that a new video has been released for the opening track, Hollow Mountain. We have mentioned this on the site before, Efterklang is very smart with their visual arts applied to music formula.
