Monumental Illustrations by Manabu Ikeda

Juxtapoz // Friday, 26 Sep 2014

The works of Ikeda Manabu scale out to be larger than life, with each canvas bigger than a person lying down in front of him. Working with pen and ink, this Japanese artist will work on a four-inch block of canvas everyday, typically for years at a time until the work is complete. Most interestingly, Ikeda does not know what the works will appear like until they are entirely complete.
