Miles Davis' paintings on exhibit in London next month

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, 24 Nov 2010

One of the best parts of these drawings and paintings that Miles Davis created was the fact that he signed some of them "Miles !". From December 7—11, Londoners will be able to see the legendary and massively influential jazz artist's last 100 drawings and oil paintings.

Gallery 27, through Jonathan Poole, are hosting the show, which we can imagine is going to be very popular due to the fact that these works are being premiered for the first time, and Davis is quite popular in London.

Considering the great album artwork featured on Davis' 1970's albums, and his composition skills as an arranger, it makes sense Davis had talents to compose and interesting drawing and canvas.

Thanks to Slamxhype for the head's up.
