NY-based artist Mark Mulroney has a grandma that he is very fond of, so much so that he created a book about her through fashion brand, Shipley & Halmos. When Mulroney's grandma worked in San Diego, she operated a "camera that took the photos for the I.D. cards, which certified seniors as old enough to receive discounts on public transit, movie tickets, and breakfast at Denny’s." This book is his collection of those photos.

We are currently working on a piece with Mulroney for the current issue of Juxtapoz. Stay tuned for more on that.

As Mulroney writes about his new book, "“My grandma, Billie Abbott, worked at the San Diego Senior Center for over a decade. One of her tasks was to operate the camera that took the photos for the I.D. cards, which certified seniors as old enough to receive discounts on public transit, movie tickets, and breakfast at Denny’s… This book represents the bulk of my personal collection.”
