After a long drive in the wee hours of the morning, Juxtapoz arrived in the beautiful hill town of Grottaglie in Southern Italy to attend the opening of FAME Festival. With just a few hours to run around the town before sleep called, we saw work by Escif, Blu, Vhils, Lucy McLauchlan, Nespoon, Os Gemeos, Sam 3, Swoon, and others.
A few gems from the walkaround... what is really amazing and a treat is that no matter where you walk in town, from the older, winding streets to the newer neighborhoods, there are hidden pieces of art everywhere. You can even see where some older pieces were painted over, or some fading Swoon wheatpastes around the city. Really a treasure chest of good stuff when you just walk around.
