Jesse Hazelip, whose wheatpastes can be seen all around San Francisco, has a solo show in the mega-space that is 941 Geary in the city's Tenderloin opening January 15, 2011. The show's title, The Belle of the Brawl, also happens to be the title of the video preview for the exhibition that you can see here.
The Oakland-based artist will fill the 3,000 square foot space with over 20 mixed media works on found wood as well as a 16’ x 46’ ft installation piece and a second installation to be unveiled at the opening reception.
