Jeff Soto "Mother and Father" Print

Juxtapoz // Sunday, 17 Apr 2011

Jeff Soto is set to release his new April prints, this one in particular called the "Mother and Father" print. The print is being made with UV inks on sustainable FSC certified 1/2" plywood at 31.5" x 20" and is signed and numbered at an edition of 20 prints, available on Thursday April 21, 2011 at Noon Pacific Time.

Mr. Soto writes about using the new inks, "I've been wanting to take advantage of UV inks on wood for several years now. The process makes for a unique and different looking print as the wood texture is still visible through the image. In addition, UV inks are safer for the environment than other inks which rely on evaporation to cure. We printed these on Forest Stewardship Council certified sustainable plywood, which looks great and feels great! Each print is unique with beautiful subtle wood grain thoughout. These are unframed but they come ready to hang (you can always add a frame, but I think they look great unframed). They are printed the same size as the original painting. I'm hoping to do some more of these small runs in the future."
