This weekend in Portland, the puppet collective by the name of Nightshade will be teaming up with Brooklyn-based band, Japanther, for three days and five shows of collaborative performance. Thousands of elaborate hand drawn, hand cut pieces of paper will be projected with a flashlight, combined with the silhouetted band to create a low-tech psychedelic puppet-goth spectacle.
