In Street Art: The Designs of Britain's Zaha Hadid

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, 01 Jun 2011

The designs of Iraqi-born British architect Zaha Hadid are adventurous and experimental, constantly pushing the boundaries of architecture. Her structures have an energetic feeling, are curved, and progressive.

Hadid has recently been commissioned by the Iraqi government to design the new building for the Central Bank of Iraq, as well as the design for the 2012 Olympic Aquatics Centre in London.

Her work has won many international competitions and has been included in the Guggenheim Museum, Venice Biennale, Moma, and Harvard University.
