London-based artist D*Face is in town for his first Los Angeles solo exhibit, Going Nowhere Fast at Corey Helford Gallery, which opens this Saturday. Last night I was lucky enough to join him as he dropped custom-made tombstones around Los Angeles, one on Santa Monica Beach just north of the pier by the bike path and one on Charlie Sheen’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Following are a few photos from the evening, but you should definitely hurry up and head out for a look at these beautiful pieces in person before they’re gone. Also stay tuned for more on D*Face including a time-lapse of a mural he’s been working on all week.
