Based in London, England, graphic designer and illustrator Harvey Dormer has developed a dark and brooding style akin to the more gothic aspects of Victorian illustrations, with creepy configurations of people, plants, and animals blended together as one. Dormer admits he is nostalgic for the innocence of his childhood, a sombre nostalgia that is reflected in the macabre fairytale narratives he unravels in his work.

He currently works as an art director at an Orlando advertising agency and is emerging as one of the city's most recognizable street artists, his visual style ranging from purely illustrative to a graphic blend of type elements and hand drawn illustrations.
