Eirian Chapman is a freelance graphic artist and illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. Her charming blog, "Teeth & Hair," explores the vast artistic possibilities of hair ornamentation, as seen through the unique prism of Chapman's crisp and inspiring design aesthetic. Her illustrations are remarkably simple and expressive, and at 60+ completed so far, we're looking forward to seeing many more to come.

Angie Hoffmeister is an artist and freelance illustrator who lives in Dusseldorf, Germany, where she is currently studying at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf. Drawing inspiration from the city she calls home, Hoffmeister uses a wide variety of mediums, from watercolors to graphite, and she also creates etchings and ink drawings. Her first graphic novel, part two of the "Walled City Trilogy," will be published later this year.

'Creative Sustainability' Featuring Blaine Fontana

Blaine Fontana currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon. Imbuing his vision with the divine symbolism of religious myths, worldly folklore and current social dynamics, his works contain a kind of shamanic exploration of meaning that recognizes the totemic quality and power of the image. Andrea Rossi was born in South Florida and currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Rossi is a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, earning her BFA in Illustration with a minor in Art History. Unsurprisingly, her work has been honored by the Society of Illustrators Student Competition in 2012 and she continues to expand on her wildly entertaining narrative illustration style..

Scottish illustrators Dwayne Bell and Lucy MacLeod have come to together to combine visual forces in their new collection of individual and joint works entitled "Convergence." Spawned by their mututal obsessions with mid-20th century lifestyle illustration, pulp fiction covers, and vintage comic books, this retro-flavored show with a contemporary twist opens April 14th at The Outhouse in Edinburgh and runs through May 20th.

Nimit Malavia is an award-winning freelance illustrator based out of Ottawa, Canada. Born in 1987, Malavia received his degree in illustration from Sheridan College, and has since been heavily involved in gallery shows across North America and Europe. He is currently participating in a solo exhibition of his work, "Finding Together Again," at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The show opened April 5th and runs through April 28th.

The show will feature works from thirty-one amazingly talented artists with over thirty boards on display, each individually customized and available for sale. The show opens with an artist reception on April 13th from 8-10 PM, and continues until April 29th.
