Born in Chile, Ricardo Martinez moved to Spain with his family as a young teenager, established himself there as an illustrator and cartoonist and later moved to the U.S. where he worked for newspapers and did editorial illustration in Miami. He eventually moved back to Madrid, where he became part of the group that created the newspaper “El Mundo”- which he did these awesome scratchboard illustrations for!

With a keen eye for detail and fine linework, Eibatova manipulates hair, plants and the cosmos to spell out the well known Lennon tune. Born in Leningrad, Russia, Karina studied classical art disciplines in St. Petersburg, fine art education in Sweden, and contemporary art in Moscow.

Commercial photographer, graphic designer and art director Juan Gatti combines anatomical drawings with illustrations of flora and fauna in his Ciencia Naturales (Natural Sciences) series. His strange juxtapositions evoke the continuities that exist between the human body and other varieties of organic forms, where exposed musculature is mirrored in the patterning of a snake's skin or the curved branches of a coral reef.

Taylor McKimens' paintings play like an acid trip through desert country. His figures and environments drip and ooze in electrifying color, hallucinatory visions of decay articulated through a stylized comic book aesthetic. McKimens alternates 'between loose areas of color with atmospheric gesture and dense areas of confident line quality where even the slightest details, a fly on a shoe, a piece of trash in a puddle, are given equal stature on the canvas.'
