This picture is going to do this any wonders, you really need to click after the jump to watch the videos. The details are this is a video created by Graeme Taylor aboard a high-speed train using a high-speed camera, replayed in slow motion. The results are beautiful, surreal, almost unearthly.

For the tech people: What Graeme was doing was testing what would happend "if the camera was the fast-moving object? For instance, if you use a 210fps camera at 35mph, on playback at 30fps it’ll seem to the observer that they’re moving at walking pace- but everything observed will be operating at 1/7th speed."
