The HALLENKUNST pop-up exhibit in Chemnitz, Germany, wrapped up last month, designed to spotlight the mid-European's urban art movement within the ever-growing international public art scene. This year's group showcase was hosted in 6 innovative and exciting spaces. The 5,000 sqm spaces were special areas within which artists created site-specific art installations and a unique opportunity for visitors to experience varied and large format examples of urban art from Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and France. Participating artists like Herakut, MadC, ecb, Satone, Kacao77 Universes, the Peachbeach Collective, Tasso, Soten, Stefan Winterle, Flying Förtress, and the Jukoebox Cowboys, plus many more showcase a large scale of different public art forms, including stencil art, graffiti and stylewriting, street art, lightwriting, fine art, video, photography, and more.
