Grotesk on his busy Fall season

Juxtapoz // Saturday, 20 Nov 2010

New York-based, Swiss-born graphic and fine artist Grotesk (cover artist of June 2009, n101) has been busy this past Fall with a bunch of different projects, all of which we deem interesting and worthy of your attention. He has been designing billboards, logos, and a journal for Nike.

Above is the new billboard that Grotesk designed for the RED Campaign that is now up in NOLITA in Manhattan. As you probably know, the RED Campaign raises money and awareness to fight AIDS in Africa.

Next, he created a new logo for 12ozProphet, to us, one the great blog networks in all of art (KR, REAS, BATES, 123Klan, Grotesk, and a bunch of others have blogs here). This logo is quite slick. Good work. See the logo up around Manhattan...

And, with the help of curator and photographer Tim Barber, Grotesk finished The Destroyer Journal for Nike. Again, a cool project.

As part of the Jux alumni, we will keep you posted on all things Grotesk as they pop-up.
