We continue to see a number of walls pop up from the recent art related events in Miami, including this brightly colored letter soup from New York-based artist and graffiti writer, Sp One. The artist made nice use of wall space on this piece.

People do the strangest things, for example, everything that makes up this video. Grown men run around in high security train stations and use extinguishers to hose each other down next to the trains, naked. To top it off, they made their own song to accompany the video! It may be one of the weirdest forms of vandalism we have seen.

This Smart crew piece was part of a project where Klughaus Gallery in New York brought a box truck down to Art Basel and every 24 hours a new graffiti writer repainted it. We think they all came out great, but this one may have taken the prize.

MOCAtv’s new art channel has recently been documenting the work of many contemporary artists such as Retna and, JR, and now they center the focus on Los Angeles-based graffiti artist, Risk. With over 30 years of painting behind him, Risk feels compelled to brighten up areas that have been overlooked and uplift the spirits of others with his murals. He goes on to say “I want dispel the myth that all graffiti is negative.”
