Two highly talented painters, Sawe and Aryz, collaborated on a wall over the weekend at the Pobledubsec Graffiti Festival in Barcelona, Spain. Both artists painted their names accompanied with their own unique characters.

Pref’s approach to piecing involves combining, overlapping, and blending letters to spell out a variety of phrases. These four new pieces contain the phrases “IT'S JUST NOT COOL TO BE AN IDIOT,” “GOT TO BE MAD,” “ONE ON TOP OF THE OTHER,” and “LOST FOR WORDS.”

Los Angeles born, Oakland-based artist, Pablo Cristi, creates vibrant paintings and sculptures relating to pop culture, graffiti, religion, history, gangs, and “Bling culture,” are favorite topic of all. As his website states, “ Cristi’s work is motivated by an active political awareness and is steeped in a critical inquiry of power, representation and history.” “ His investigations of the colonial past, present, and future often take the form of paintings and sculptural objects that deconstruct and commingle urban visual vernaculars.”
