Aroe x Sobekcis

Graffiti // Thursday, September 06, 2012
This is definitely not what we would have expected a collaboration between Aroe and Sobekis to look like, it is always nice to pleasantly surprised.

Yes Way...

Graffiti // Thursday, September 06, 2012
This new Noway piece has a captivating fill-in, especially with a cactus landscape subtly painted inside.

NYPD Cream...

Graffiti // Thursday, September 06, 2012
The worst most unskilled graffiti can often be our favorite, exemplified in this photo. The pun “Cops ruin everything around me” was written in this dysfunctional Wu-Tang logo.

Supe

In a soup of letters and colors, Supe stand out among the pack.

Curveeeee...

One of our favorite writers current painting in the streets. Always with original lettering and style.

Read More and Swoon cameos in Diplo Video

Graffiti // Wednesday, September 05, 2012
I have been on a Major Lazer music marathon lately and of course that means I have been listening to plenty of Diplo. While watching videos this morning to get pumped for the day, I ran across the “Express Yourself” video by Diplo, which basically consists of more ass shaking than anything.  If you watch closely, the video has a quick frame where a Read More Books sticker is the main focus and Swoon's wheatpastes act as a backdrop for a majority of the song.

Noway . . . .

Graffiti // Wednesday, September 05, 2012
Dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot. This train got pop, pop, pop, pop. Noway got it done with this fill-in right here.

Tars

Graffiti // Wednesday, September 05, 2012
I’m feeling compelled to get some sort of candy after viewing this piece, maybe some Skittles, Mambas, or M&M’s. Something with an assortment of colors.

Sace Throwback

Graffiti // Wednesday, September 05, 2012
We remember visiting New York and seeing this Sace street side stomper thinking, “Dahmmmmm, he got that.”  Added throwup on top as well.  Straight killer RIP.

When combining scenic views with graffiti, this photograph of Optimist tagging is a tough one to beat.
