Alice Cooper’s famous song “Schools Out” captures the feeling of excitement for summer vacation perfectly. As our favorite lyric goes goes, “Schools been blown to pieces!”  We are asumming this piece by Marmer was painted on an abandoned school, making it all the more appropriate.

Los Angeles-based graffiti writer, Witness aka Tyke, recently traveled to Denver where he collaborated with Chicago’s East. The following video shows the two painting their pieces to one of our favorite San Francisco bands Ty Segal.

Normally graffiti on girls appears tacky and somewhat juvenile, however this pair of legs with a Wais piece stretching across them is an exception. It may have more to do with how this was photographed, perfectly.

Haze’s classic signature style is a staple in the graffiti world. His work became widely recognized after creating art for early hip-hop groups such as Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, and EPMD, as well as designing logos for MTV and Tommy Boy Records.  To celebrate Team USA and the thirtieth Olympiad, Haze created a large installation at the Nike Flagship store in New York. Filmed in the artist’s studio, the following video focuses on the artist’s inspiration for the show and the significance of symbols in his work.
