Where's Sacr?

Graffiti // Tuesday, November 06, 2012
This is like a Where’s Waldo for graffiti or Sacr. A photo with this much text and color difference would make a great one of those 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzles.

Sluto

Graffiti // Monday, November 05, 2012
There are some bizarre themes such as “Scar tissue” in this Sluto piece and in a fairly redundant medium that can be refreshing.

Gkae on top

Graffiti // Monday, November 05, 2012
One of the hardest hitting bombers on the West Coast during the early 90’s was Gkae. He painted just about everything imaginable, very high up or right in your face.  This classic photo of Gkae standing on top of a Vancouver police car was taken in 1996.

Graffiti // Monday, November 05, 2012

These are actually really simple letters, but they have chainmail and protective armor covering them.

Video: Throwback Videograf Issue 3 featuring Ket

Graffiti // Sunday, November 04, 2012
Videograff was the original in graffiti documentary videos out of New York City.  They featured a number of influential writers in their beginning. This video was on Ket, showing him and his partners painting clean trains at the 2 Avenue station.  Classic.

Jaber Whole Car

Graffiti // Saturday, November 03, 2012
Jaber’s characters are easily recognizable to anyone who has been lurking around train tracks or just follows graffiti. They pop up everywhere, but we have never seen a whole car all over print of them.

I Remember Halloween

Graffiti // Friday, November 02, 2012
Halloween should be once a month for more reasons than I can explain here.  The Misfits loved Halloween and so does Spain who painted this tribute.  Smashed pumpkin makes for a nice touch.
