Martha Cooper's surprise 70th Birthday wall

Graffiti // Monday, March 11, 2013
In a surprise 70th birthday celebration, street photographer, Martha Cooper was told a new piece was being painted at the famed Houston wall in Manhattan and upon arrival she was greeted with an unexpected gift. The large letters spelling the photographers nickname “Marty” were created by a number of well-known street and graffiti artists such as Lady Pink, How and Nosm, Bio from Tats Cru, Freedom, Free5, Crash, Daze, Terror 161, Faust, and Aiko. The wall will be up only for a short period of time before it continues on its cycle of change, so go check it out now!

On that Loud...You on that hush...

Graffiti // Monday, March 11, 2013
Most people don’t appreciate a good ol’ abandoned building as much as people who like to paint fake names on walls. They serve as a great place to try something new without the stress of being spotted. Omens took his time on this one and it shows.

Silver Dollars...

Graffiti // Sunday, March 10, 2013
We don’t know whose collection this is or if it’s intended for something specific, but what a good idea for collecting graffiti signatures. We got Ojae, False, Mize, Cinik, Zephyr, Kuma, Curve, and Lions. Not a bad New York lineup.
