For NY Volta Art Fair opening this week, Jonathan Ferrara Gallery will be showing the new series of Folded Money Prints, Live Free or Die, by Dan Tague. Not only are Tague's money prints vivid and realistic, the statements that he folds the money into creating are clever.

Tague bio states "He is well-known for his dollar bill works that are a hybrid of sculpture, photography and political statements. Tague often addresses the issues of our day by rendering visual equivalents by the most powerful means necessary. Installations, photography and artistic activism are his means of confronting and responding to the concerns of today's world."

His work will be on display next week from March 3—6, 2011.
