Museum of Monterey (MOM) hosts Flows To Bay where local and international artists (Chris Jordan, Pam Longobardi, Brandon Boyd, and Raymond Pettibon to name a few) explore the relationship between consumerism and the ocean. Almost everything we purchase, use and enjoy at some point is tossed away and ends up as trash – either in a landfill or worse – along the side of the road or in our bays, lakes, streams and ultimately the oceans.

The exhibit was kicked off with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd's visit to MOM to display some of his art from a project he did with Hurley. "I began this project out of a sense of alarm at the state of our oceans." – Brandon Boyd
