This Saturday April 4th at 7pm, Fifty24SF Gallery in association with Upper Playground presents a print show by renowned artist Hajime Sorayama. If you remember, we featured Sorayama in the print edition of Juxtapoz back in December 2014, and that feature ended with probably the most bizarre ending we have ever had in the magazine (Sorayama was asked if he wanted a drink and retorted: "Your breast milk will be fine, if you may." Priceless, bizarre, but priceless.)

We have written about the great Bob Carlos Clarke on the site before, but the range of his work, from rock stars, to models, to fetish scenes, to overtly sexual situations, he was a true master of his craft. He was born in Cork, Ireland in 1950, and came to England in 1964 to study art and design at The West Sussex College of Art where he developed an interest in photography. He then went on to The London College of Printing, before completing his degree at the Royal College of Art in 1975.

In June 2009, Russell James joined the prestigious ranks of Irving Penn and Helmut Newton as a resident artist of the worlds leading fine-art fashion photography gallery, CAMERA WORK in Berlin. James' works have since been featured in two solo exhibitions at CAMERA WORK, as well as being inducted into the 'Fashion Through Time' collection that is a group show of the worlds most preeminent fashion photographers spanning nine decades. From April 25—June 6, 2015, James will return to CAMERA WORK with a solo show of his world renowned 'Angels' collection. This will be the first time the Angels collection has been shown in Europe.
