We have posted about the works of Adeline Mai before on the site, and love both her commericial and personal work. Today, we look at a few of her personal projects, mainly the "Weightlessness" series. Mai utilizes warm colors rather than the usual blues and greens that we are used to seeing water, and the results are beautiful.

Spanish recording artist, El Guincho makes music that evokes elements of Afrobeat, Dub, Tropicália and, Rock & Roll. His music video, for the track Bombay, is sexy, playful, fun, creative, and has been a favorite of our for a while. The video is heavily inspired by the 70s in all the right ways, yet remains current with it’s modern sensibility- Directed by Nicolás Méndez. Produced by CANADA.

1800 Millimètre features Emi Anrakuji’s five color and fifteen black-and-white prints in her usual intimate scale. The images feature Anrakuji’s bare body in a shadowy room with door, mirror, and a curtained window that imbues the natural setting with the artificiality of a stage set.

Margot Fabre and Frederik Stender did what friends and colleagues like to do: make fun, dirty, sexy, and did we mention dirty drawings together in collaboration. What's fun about these is that they are both loose and directed, mixing an almost classic illustration style with what appears to be a fun time for everyone.

Films were often made under threat of legal action and for every big-budge film, "there were smaller films made in motel rooms with ookers or women who hated it...Just because it's old doesn't mean it's classic. Here are a collection of posters from that era of adult film...

We posted about Spanish photographer Ángela Burón's sneaky surrealism last year, and we saw that her Flickr was updated with a few more special effects and straight up portraits to check out today.

This Saturday April 4th at 7pm, Fifty24SF Gallery in association with Upper Playground presents a print show by renowned artist Hajime Sorayama. If you remember, we featured Sorayama in the print edition of Juxtapoz back in December 2014, and that feature ended with probably the most bizarre ending we have ever had in the magazine (Sorayama was asked if he wanted a drink and retorted: "Your breast milk will be fine, if you may." Priceless, bizarre, but priceless.)

We have written about the great Bob Carlos Clarke on the site before, but the range of his work, from rock stars, to models, to fetish scenes, to overtly sexual situations, he was a true master of his craft. He was born in Cork, Ireland in 1950, and came to England in 1964 to study art and design at The West Sussex College of Art where he developed an interest in photography. He then went on to The London College of Printing, before completing his degree at the Royal College of Art in 1975.
