The New Yorker's Nipplegate

Erotica // Monday, September 17, 2012
The oftentimes bewildering practices of the Facebook censorship guidelines have struck again, temporarily banning The New Yorker's Facebook page for violating community standards. The offending material? This Mick Stevens cartoon. The representation of nudity in art posted on the site has been a contentious issue, but this particular instance seems especially absurd. Read more about "Nipplegate" after the break.
