"The holidays are upon us and are a time for giving and loving, sharing and spreading cheer to all those that are close to you. This year, be sure to give a little something extra to the love(s) in your life. Take some leads from a few of these classic, turkey loving pin-ups."

Polly Penrose: "A Body Of Work"

Erotica // Tuesday, November 25, 2014
We know this isn't traditionally known as "erotica," but because of the NSFW nature, it resides in this section. But Polly Penrose's serios "A Body Of Work" has such a command of color, structure and form, and we love her comment that "It feels like I’m hammering my body into the landscape of the room, one picture at a time."

Gloria Pizzilli is one of our favorite up and coming illustrators, and her latest work is a lovely fit in our erotica section. Featuring gorgeous dark pallettes of purples and blues, Pizzilli builds up her digital compositions with textures and shapes that feel tactile though computer generated. These particular works have a lovely erotic undertone, focusing on the darker edges of sexuality.

Pink: A series by Prue Stent

Erotica // Tuesday, November 11, 2014
Let's take a moment to celebrate the color pink, in all its glory, in all its rare use in the natural world or art in general. For some reason, seeing this great series of Pink by Melbourne's Prue Stent made us realize just how rare pjnk is used, or better yet, how rare it is that pink is used well. From Staged Photography, "The themes of her photography center around femininity and the struggle of identity in women. The color pink is used to represent femininity either physically or emotionally throughout her work."
