One of our favorite sites, Empty Kingdom, has teamed up with Select Fair this year to bring several great artists to Art Basel in Miami. Lucien Shapiro (featured in our December 2013 issue), Andreas Englund, Amanda Elizabeth Joseph, Erin Riley (news soon!), Scott Hove, and Shawn Barber make up the list of artists that Empty Kingdom chose! The EK/SELECT exhibition will be held in the famous South Beach area at the Catalina Hotel in Miami, Florida, where they’ll be carrying out a complete art take over! So make it a stop on your rounds around town this week!

EMPTY KINGDOM is absolutely ecstatic to announce our partnership with SELECT FAIR for collaborative exhibition madness at the internationally infamous ART BASEL in beautiful Miami, Florida from DECEMBER 4-8. What the hell does that mean for all of you? It means there’s only one place for you to be in December this year, and it’s South Beach!

Amanda Elizabeth JosephAndreas EnglundErin M. RileyScott Hove, and Shawn Barber will be exhibiting their work for the show, so this IS the opportunity that you don’t want to miss! Did we mention that all artists have been on our TOP 100 list at one point or another? BOOYAH!

We fully intend to work towards upholding our 90/10 commitment, but in the meantime we’re giving what we can. 10% of the sale price will go to a charity of the artist’s choice, so come out and support the arts for a good cause!

We have decided to partner with SELECT because they are a quality group of visionaries with many similar values, not just in Art, but in philosophy with EK. Stay tuned because we’ll be soon begin announcing a lot of cool developments that you’ll want to be a part of, the super-amazeballs artists we’ll be featuring, the parties we’ll be throwing, and diners we’ll be addressing our unreal hangovers at.  It’s going to be a damn good time, and we don’t want you to miss it.
