Ericailcane finishes new murals in San Francisco

In conjunction with his solo show "We Were Living In the Woods," opening at FIFTY24SF Gallery in San Francisco on Thursday, November 11, Ericailcane completed two new murals outside the gallery this afternoon.

As you can seen, the signature style that the Italian muralist has created throughout Europe over the past half decade or more is now running on the streets of San Francisco. As we mentioned earlier this week, the quick but methodical nature that Erica goes about painting is not much different than the process of a graffiti artist, but the results obviously are heavily based in mural tradition.

Ericailcane painted over the old Sam Flores mural that had run on the Fillmore block for years, but had been weathered greatly in recent years. We look forward to checking out the full show, installation, and murals in person tomorrow night.
